The rooms at Hotel Ermitage du Moulin Labotte are like stepping into a charming old-world fairytale. The period-style wooden furniture creates a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I loved the flat-screen TV with foreign channels, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The electric shutters on the windows provided a peaceful and dark sleep. The private bathroom had everything I needed, whether I wanted to take a relaxing bath or a quick shower. And let's not forget, having a flat-screen TV with Canal+ satellite channels and an electric kettle was a delightful bonus. I also appreciated the slippers, free toiletries, and hairdryer provided in the room. I felt pampered and spoiled during my stay.
Although it might not bother everyone, I personally found the hairdryer provided in the private bathroom to be a bit old-fashioned and not as efficient as I would have liked.

Loved the view of the old mill from the restaurant terrace while dining on local delicacies. Explored the beautiful Ardenne Forest on the nearby hiking and cycling trails. Enjoyed a drink at the on-site bar.
The dry cleaning service was sadly not needed as I spilled red wine on my new dress during dinner.

During the Xmas holidays, we stayed at a hotel nestled in a wooded area. We loved the short walk through the woods to reach the river with its picturesque promenade. the hotel's private parking was an advantage, and the restaurant served delicious food with a nice bottle of wine. the rooms were cozy and comfortable.
The intermittent Wi-Fi was a downside, but not a big deal as we didn't need it much. for people with mobility issues, the rural location may be difficult to access.

Surprisingly enjoyable stay during motorcycle trip in Ardennes. Beautiful, quiet place in the forest, with friendly and humorous staff. Excellent ambiance and food in the restaurant. Extraordinary breakfast. Nice atmosphere with a beautiful forest surrounding. Location may be challenging without transportation. Returning at night through the forest without light requires caution.
